Autumn Stages - Sunday 8th May 2005
The Autuumn Stages were held in the grounds of Drumlanrig Castle in Dumfrieshire. The event was restricted to 2 wheel drive cars only so that meant that it was the first rally outing for the Nova since buying it back and rebuilding it.
Stage 1 went OK with no problems. The second stage started well but about halfway through the car lost drive and we pulled off into a junction. At first we thought a drive shaft had broken but once we were recovered to the service area, Sam diagnosed a broken diff. This couldn't be repaired quickly so the day was over.
